Cream butter, Sweet'N Low, and brown sugar. Add salt and egg. Beat well. Stir in flour sifted with baking soda and spices. Beat well. Alternating with milk, stir in raisins and nuts. Spread in buttered 7x14-inch pan with back of greased spoon. Bake 15 minutes at 350°F. Cut into squares or bars while warm.
