Sweet And Sour Salad
(4 1-cup servings)
1 ½ cups broccoli florets, cooked
1 6-ounce package frozen snow peas, thawed and drained
2 small tomatoes, cored and cut into 6 wedges
½ cup whole water chestnuts, halved
2/3 cup fresh or canned bean sprouts, drained
2 tablespoons chopped red onion
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 small clove garlic, crushed
½ teaspoon Sweet 'N Lowâ Brown granulated sugar substitute
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Dash salt
In bowl, mix broccoli, snow peas, tomatoes, water chestnuts, bean sprouts and onion. In another bowl, mix remaining ingredients; pour over salad. Cover; chill about 2 hours.
