Sweet 'N Sour Beets
(6 servings)
1 teaspoon Sweet 'N LowÒ Brown granulated sugar substitute
1/4 cup water
1 12-ounce can small beets, drained, sliced or cubed
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup mild vinegar
2 tablespoons butter
In saucepan, mix Sweet 'N Low Brown and cornstarch. Add vinegar and water and boil 1 minute. Add beets and let stand at least 30 seconds. Just before serving, bring to boil and add butter.
