Cinnamon Candy Cherry Cobbler

(9 Slices)

Crust:


1 ½ cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons brown sugar ¾ teaspoon Sweet 'N Low Brown® granulated sugar substitute
1/3 cup Grape-Nuts cereal
¼ cup liquefied Butter Buds® Mix
¼ cup liquid egg substitute
2 tablespoons fat-free milk
1 tablespoon liquefied Butter Buds® Mix to brush on dough
¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Filling:


¼ cup sugar
3 packets Sweet 'N Low® granulated sugar substitute
4 tablespoons cinnamon red-hot candies
2 tablespoons cornstarch
½ cup water
1 can sour pie cherries (1 pound, 4 ounces)

Combine sugar, candies, cornstarch, water, and cherry juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick. Add cherries and pour into 8x8-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with a nonfat cooking spray.

Glaze:


1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup powdered sugar mixed with 3 packets Sweet 'N Low® granulated sugar substitute

Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add half of brown sugar and Grape-Nuts cereal. Blend in liquefied Butter Buds with a fork until particles are small. Combine egg substitute and milk. Add to flour mixture and stir until moistened. Roll on floured board to 14 x 12 inches. Brush with one tablespoon liquid Butter Buds. Combine remaining half of brown sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over dough. Roll up starting at 12-inch side. Cut into 9 slices. Place on filling and bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes. After removing from oven, drizzle glaze over top.
